Project Details

Horgen

The landowner intends to build a residential building on their property at Tödistrasse 20 in Horgen. The existing Tödi retirement home on the site, which was built in 1932/1970, is to be replaced and rebuilt to meet future needs. The Baugenossenschaft Zurlinden (BGZ), as the owner, intends to work with the municipality of Horgen to create a district of multi-generational apartments. The future-oriented and flexible forms of housing are to be socially mixed and built in accordance with the requirements of the 2000-watt society. A rear-ventilated photovoltaic façade is planned. The project is planned in two stages – above and below Tödistrasse. There will be 173 rental apartments at affordable prices and a care center with 66 beds as well as 22 cluster apartments. A kindergarten and a daycare center are also planned. The buildings are to have basements and underground garages with 305 parking spaces.
