Zurich Airport
In order to cope with the constantly growing flow of passengers and commuters in the landside Airport Center in the future, Flughafen Zürich AG intends to completely renovate the northern part of the Airport Center. The expansion of the landside passenger areas is intended to provide sufficient space for the growing flow of people and eliminate existing bottlenecks. The project includes a redesign of the passenger areas on levels G0 and G1 in the northern part of the Airport Center. For all users (passengers, commuters, shoppers), the redesign will improve the quality and quantity of the paths between rail, bus, parking, Terminal 1 and 2 and the new center “The Circle” at Zurich Airport. Along these access routes, the retail and gastronomy offering will be expanded with a variety of attractive stores and new gastronomy zones. At the same time, the new center “The Circle” will be optimally connected to the Airport Center.
