The SGE aims for a tenant mix that is suited to the neighborhood and covers a broad spectrum of age groups, income classes, family types and household sizes.. In addition to the shared spaces, the SGE also provides commercial spaces and infrastructure for the neighbourhood: A double kindergarten, a daycare center as well as studios and a café/restaurant expand the residential offering. The SGE is aiming for apartments with a high occupancy density and high quality in a limited space. In accordance with the guidelines for housing subsidies, the apartments will be built as low-cost apartments. The new building should meet the requirements of the 2000-watt society and utilize the resources of the site. The complex will therefore be SNBS-certified.
