Great commitment for 50 years
In 1974, Bruno Caretta and his father Oswald founded the company B. + O. Caretta, Bauleitende Architekten, which was based in a remodeled basement in Rüschlikon ZH. From these modest beginnings, a company has grown over the course of around 50 years that is active throughout Switzerland and increasingly attracts foreign investors, clients, and architectural offices. From 2009 to 2022, Rafael and Mauro Caretta ran the company together with their father. Since June 2023, Caretta Weidmann has been owned by Mauro Caretta and Felix Hegetschweiler. Continuity and many years of experience characterize the company Caretta+Weidmann Baumanagement AG.
The beginning

Bruno Caretta founds the second company Caretta+Weidmann Beratende Architekten HTL with Heinrich Weidmann.

The company moves into an office building at Sihlfeldstrasse in Zurich and rents an entire floor. 40 employees.
Family addition to the company
Bruno's son, Rafael Caretta, joins the company.
