New high-rise residential building Papieri-Areal

The new residential tower block on the Papieri site is being built to the south of the listed boiler house on the Kesselplatz square of the same name.

The residential tower block interprets the industrial character of the surrounding buildings in a contemporary way.

The three basement floors contain an energy centre, 230 underground parking spaces as well as bicycle parking spaces, cellars and storage rooms. The ground floor consists of a spacious entrance hall and two larger commercial areas. From the 1st to the 12th floor, there are 46 flats, a third of which are one-and-a-half storeys high.

The wrap-around balconies maximise the view. The living spaces are also extensively glazed.

The flat mix and the flat sizes are designed for a medium to higher standard.
